Scheduled for Wednesday,April 9th at 7:00 PM,this event,organized by the center’s Audiovisual Workshop,aims to foster a deeper appreciation for national cinema within the community. This initiative reflects a growing trend in local communities to support and promote self-reliant film, providing platforms for both filmmakers and audiences to connect.

Featured Films: Exploring Diverse Narratives

The forum will showcase two compelling films:

  • “The Same War”: This thought-provoking film presents an alternate scenario following the Hiroshima atomic bombing. The narrative follows Enola Gay pilot, Paul Tibbets, who deserts his mission and finds himself lost amidst the devastation. He encounters an agent from the future tasked with returning him to base, irrespective of the consequences.
