Seven major countries (G7) have decided to close coal power plants by 2035. “We have decided to stop using coal in the first half of the 2030s,” said Andrew Bowie, British Minister for Energy Security and Net Zero, who attended G7 Climate, Energy and Environment Ministerial Meeting held in Turin, Italy. “This is a historic agreement,” he said, announcing the agreement through a media interview before issuing the joint statement. The G7 agreed to phase out coal at a meeting two years ago and talks continued last year, but this is the first time a specific date has been set. With this agreement, Germany and Japan, where the share of coal power generation has increased to more than 25% due to the decommissioning and suspension of nuclear power plants, have had to find alternative sources of power generation on once. Italy, the country of the conference, plans to close five out of six coal power plants by next year.

The Gruesome Discovery: Five Skeletons With Missing Hands…

Latebra Foundation Poland Unearths Mysterious Skeletons

CNN

Archaeologists recently made a startling discovery at a former Nazi military base in Poland. The excavation revealed the remains of five individuals, all missing their hands and feet.

The skeletons were found at the Wolf’s Lair, a Nazi command center in Gierloz, northeastern Poland. The Latebra Foundation, based in Gdansk, confirmed that the remains belonged to three adults, a teenager, and a newborn baby.

Unusual Arrangement and Clues

The bodies were arranged in close proximity to each other, facing the same direction, outside a house once occupied by Nazi commander Hermann Göring. Alongside the skeletons were burned boards and remnants of sewage infrastructure, but no clothing was found.

During the excavation, the team discovered ashes, a burned key, and a fragment of a human skull. Adrian Kostrzewa, a member of the foundation’s board of directors, expressed surprise at the findings.

Police Investigation and Speculations

Polish authorities are currently investigating the discovery, with many questions remaining unanswered. Kostrzewa mentioned that there are various theories surrounding the missing hands and feet of the skeletons, but definitive conclusions are yet to be drawn.

The next crucial step involves determining the age of the remains through radio carbon dating.
