The governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillofa new branch of the Province Bank in the industrial park of the municipality of Pilar, together with the president of the institution, inaugurated on Monday, Juan Cuattromoand the local mayor, Federico Achával.
“While the entire country is going through a very strong crisis as a result of the economic policies of the National Government, in the province of Buenos Aires we are making a great effort to sustain the productive credit and accompany the small and medium enterprises,” Kicillof said and added: “This new branch of the Buenos Aires public ban productive framework ”.
Within that framework, the governor said that “this is possible because, after receiving a province bank in a state of abandonment, we not only set out to recover it, but also launch a true expansion plan that allows us to reach all corners to be available to Buenos Aires companies and families.”
The new building has been built to relocate the Bank of the Province Bank within the Industrial Park and provide better service to more than 6,000 clients. The facilities have ATMs, self -service terminal, meeting room, commercial positions and offices for the Treasury.
For his part, Cuattrome stressed: “In the Province Bank we have around 80,000 clients of the industrial sector. This branch is a good example of our commitment, since it shows that the bank is inseparably linked to the destination of the industrial production of the province, especially its SMEs.”
“In a context of falling economic activity, we reinforce our financing lines with rate subsidies because we know that accompanying SMEs is key to sustaining the productive framework and taking care of the work of Buenos Aires,” he said.
The branch was designed under criteria of energy efficiency and environmental care: it has solar panels, 100 % LED lighting, state -of -the -art air conditioning equipment and solar heat exchangers as an alternative source, among other features.
“This act is the sample of a provincial government that supports and thinks about the Buenos Aires productive model: the new headquarters allows you to receive the industries and SMEs of the Pilar Industrial Park generating a better work synergy,” Achával said.
During the day, the governor spoke with the workers of the Ilva Porcelanato factory that were fired at the end of August.
The Chief of Advisors of the Governor were present, Cristina Álvarez Rodríguez; The Minister of Labor, Walter Correa; and the president of the Puerto Quequén Management Consortium, Jimena López.
