Stuttgarter Lebensversicherung reports a change in management in company pension schemes. Henriette Meissner is leaving the company on December 31, 2025 after more than 20 years. Per Protoschill will take over as sole managing director of Stuttgarter Vorsorge-Management GmbH from January 1, 2026.
Meissner rose to the management of Stuttgarter Vorsorge-Management GmbH in October 2005 and was later also appointed general representative for the bAV of Stuttgarter Lebensversicherung. During this time, she expanded the company pensions area and developed advisory support for intermediary further.
Before working at Stuttgarter, Meissner held various management positions at Allianz Versicherung, Allianz Asset-Management and DBV-Winterthur, including in sales and marketing of company pension schemes.
Industry engagement and knowledge transfer
In addition to her operational work, Meissner was involved in industry associations: As a board member of the Working Group for Company Pensions (aba) and head of the specialist association for support funds, she was involved in regulatory developments, including in the design of the second company pension strengthening law. She was also active in the aba labor law specialist committee.
As a lecturer, Meissner taught at the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences and the German Broker Academy. She is the editor of the practical manual “Company Pension Provision” and co-editor of the Kompass bAV and Vorsorge. In 2012, she also initiated the Stuttgart bAV Prize for final theses in the business administration bAV course at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences.
Protoschill has been with Stuttgart for over ten years
Protoschill has been working at Stuttgarter Vorsorge-Management GmbH since December 2014, initially as head of sales support. Since April 2024, he and Meissner have formed a dual leadership position in the management. He will assume sole operational responsibility on January 1, 2026.
Before moving to Stuttgarter, Protoschill worked at Allianz: from 2013 to 2014 as group leader and senior representative at Allianz Deutschland, previously from 2008 to 2012 as head of sales support and training in the area of company pension schemes at Allianz Lebensversicherung.
