Royal Patronage Suspended: A Charity in Turmoil

prince Harry, alongside Prince Seeiso, has announced a temporary suspension of his patronage of Sentebale, the charity they co-founded in 2006. This decision, described as being made “with a heavy mind,” comes amidst escalating internal disputes and allegations of misconduct within the organization.

Sentebale, meaning “forget me not,” was established to support young people in Lesotho and Botswana affected by HIV and AIDS. Her complaint alleges “weak management, abuse of power, bullying, intimidation, hatred of women and a cover-up operation” within the organization.
