The problems will never end for the scandal-ridden prince:
- Before the weekend, Prince Andrew renounced the use of all his royal titles. But a change in the law is needed for the titles to be stripped from him completely. That is what forces in the British Parliament now want to achieve.
- There are demands that he is also stripped of both his residence on the Windsor estate and his princely title. As the son of a monarch, he is a prince and can still call himself one.
- Police have launched investigations into claims that Prince Andrew asked his bodyguard to dig up information about Virginia Giuffre, the woman who has accused him of sexually abusing her when she was 17.
- Her book comes out today, half a year after she died.

British newspapers have already read the book Nobody’s Girl. There, Virginia Giuffre describes her years as sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s victim.
According to the BBC, she feared she was going to “die a sex slave”.
She claims she was subjected to sadomasochistic sex that “hurt so much that I asked to pass out”.
– Had sex with Prince Andrew three times
Giuffre also says she had sex with Prince Andrew on three separate occasions. On one occasion, Jeffrey Epstein and approximately eight other young women were also involved in an orgy, she claims in the book.

She claims the other girls did not know English, and writes that she herself had a miscarriage after the orgy, according to the Mirror newspaper, which has also read the book.
None of the men she was forced to sleep with used condoms, she says further, according to the newspaper.
The prince has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, saying he does not remember meeting Giuffre. Nevertheless, he entered into an agreement and paid her large sums in 2022.
Brits NRK meets on the streets of London are not enthusiastic about the prince, who once had the nickname “Randy Andy”. They believe he is harming the British monarchy.
– I think he is guilty, and that he is causing problems for the royal family.

– He cannot be trusted. It’s no use having someone call themselves a prince if they don’t act like a prince.

– He should be brought to justice. If he is accused of something criminal, the court should decide whether he should be stripped of his titles.

– Finally something has been done. But more can be done. I think Prince William wants to restructure the whole royal family because it has lost its way.

Politigransking
At the weekend, a number of British media wrote that Prince Andrew allegedly asked his bodyguard to obtain personal information about Virginia Giuffre.
It must have happened just before the famous photo of him and Giuffre was published for the first time, where he keeps his arm around the then 17-year-old girl.
It is believed that he would use the information to smear his accuser. If police databases have been used to search for information about Giuffre, it would be illegal, according to British media.
This will now be investigated further by the police.
Amendment of the law
When Prince Andrew renounced his right to use his royal titles before the weekend, it was in consultation with his older brother King Charles. But there are those who believe that he should be stripped of the titles altogether.
A small number of MPs want a change in the law to make it possible. According to British law, it is not allowed to deprive someone of one’s titles.
– It is incredibly strange that you can give someone a title, but not take it from them, says the independent parliamentarian Rachael Maskell to the BBC.
She believes a simple section in the legislation should give the king the power to strip people of titles.
– There is nothing that justifies the government not taking action to remove Andrew’s titles, says Stephen Flynn, who leads the group of the Scottish National Party SNP in Westminster.
But the government seems unwilling to take action.
– This is up to the royal family, says Education Minister Bridget Phillipson to the BBC. And refers to a long-standing custom that the British government does not interfere with the royal family.
