President Marcos Jr. Reinforces Collaboration with Visayas Local Leaders on Infrastructure

MANILA — In a significant move to enhance infrastructure development, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. underscored the importance of collaboration with local government executives in Western Visayas. During a meeting with the Regional Development Council (RDC) in Iloilo City, the president reaffirmed his strong support for all critical projects in the region.

Key projects included the rehabilitation and improvement of the Boracay Circumferential Road and the Jalaur River Multipurpose Project Stage III. Updates were also provided on the Panay-Guimaras-Negros Island Bridge Project, the Panay Railway System, the Boracay Bridge Project, and the Road Widening along Jaime Cardinal Sin Avenue in Aklan.

He further encouraged the officials to present any issues, concerns, or suggestions they may have. “Do not be hesitant if there is something else that you want to bring up, if there is a problem or if you think there is a good idea that we can develop, iparating ninyo sa amin (relay them to us) and we will look into it,” the president added.
