Audi does not survive the happiest time and even though he is trying to get to their original positions, such messages will not please.

The model offensive of Audi continues. However, positive reports about the new models are disrupted by reports of problems with quality and reliability. While so far it was mainly individual claims and rumors, now there is a confirmation of production deficiencies by renowned company JDPower. It has been producing a poll among the fresh owners of new vehicles in the US for 39 years. The poll subsequently creates statistics that usually turn out well for premium brands, but that year the premium brand holds Black Peter with a relatively significant distance.

The JDPower poll asks fresh new cars owners of the problems that have occurred with the vehicle during the first 90 days after the purchase. In the poll, the participants answered a total of 227 detailed questions covering various aspects of the vehicle’s ownership and possible complications and failures that occurred during this period on the engine, transmission, drive, infotainment and other components, but the problems could also include deficiencies in driving characteristics, interior processing and the like. And customers of the brands of selling cars in the US, which they acquired their new cars in the range of June 2024 and May 2025 were the most critical to the Audi models.

In Audi, the owners recorded the most problems. Statistics show that 269 problems have appeared on every 100 car sold. Usually these are minor errors or disorders. The second from the end was Volvo with 258 problems per 100 cars. At the bottom of the ranking were also models of Volkswagen and Mazda brands. At the top of the ladder with the smallest number of faults were Lexus and Nissan. They were followed by cars of brands such as Hyundai, Honda and Kia, but the fourth place was the Jaguar brand. Brands such as Porsche, Subaru, Ford and BMW, as well as Toyota were placed approximately in the middle of the ladder.

The study of initial quality, called this act, was not evaluated by Tesla and Rivian. The reason is that many owners of these cars have not been involved in the poll. However, if the organization also evaluated the quality of Rivian cars, this start-up would be the last to Audi. Tesla would be somewhere slightly below average.

When evaluating the results of the poll, it is not necessary to forget that this is a voluntary poll that takes quite a lot of time. This can discourage many satisfied buyers, but at the same time it can motivate particularly disappointed users to engage. At the same time, it should be remembered that there are more serious shortcomings requiring more complicated repairs, but often these are rather small inconveniences that do not prevent users from driving with vehicles, they just suffer their lives or expect them before buying – for example, insufficient drink holders are a typical example.
