An in-depth look at the updated payment schedule, increased benefits, and eligibility requirements for Argentina’s Pregnancy Allocation program.

Supporting Expectant Mothers: May 2025 Pregnancy Allocation Details

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) has officially released the payment timeline for the Pregnancy allocation for May 2025. Payments are structured based on the final digit of the beneficiary’s National Identity Document (DNI).

This allocation aims to provide financial assistance to vulnerable pregnant women, ensuring they have access to essential resources during this critical period. The program reflects the government’s commitment to supporting maternal health and well-being.

Increased Financial Support: Allocation Amounts and complementary Benefits

Beneficiaries will see an increase in their allocation this May. As per resolution 212/2025, the total Pregnancy allocation amount reaches $106,536, reflecting a 3.73% adjustment to family allocations. While ANSES withholds 20% ($21,307.20), the direct monthly payment amounts to $85,228.80. This withheld amount is then disbursed upon the child’s birth or in the event of pregnancy interruption.

Beyond the base allocation, recipients also gain access to supplementary programs designed to bolster their nutritional intake and overall well-being:

  • Milk Complement (Plan of the Thousand Days): Administered by the Ministry of Human Capital, this provides an additional $40,178 to ensure adequate nutrition during pregnancy.
  • Food Card: This subsidy, remaining at $52,250, is specifically intended to facilitate access to essential food items, ensuring a balanced diet.

These combined benefits represent a critically important investment in the health and welfare of pregnant women and their future children.According to recent studies, adequate prenatal nutrition and care can substantially improve birth outcomes and reduce infant mortality rates. For example, a 2024 report by the World Health Institution (WHO) highlighted the critical role of nutritional support during pregnancy in preventing developmental issues and promoting long-term health.

May 2025 Payment Schedule: Organized by DNI Termination

To ensure efficient distribution, the Pregnancy allocation payments are staggered throughout May, based on the last digit of the recipient’s DNI:

  • May 12 (Monday): DNI ending in 0
  • May 13 (Tuesday): DNI ending in 1
  • May 14 (Wednesday): DNI ending in 2
  • May 15 (Thursday): DNI ending in 3
  • May 16 (Friday): DNI ending in 4

  • May 20 (Tuesday): DNI ending in 6
  • May 21 (Wednesday): DNI ending in 7
