The Minister of Economy, Radu Miruţă, claims that the director of Salrom was increased from 32,000 lei to 38,000 lei, shortly after the tragedy from Praid, the decision being taken by the general meeting of shareholders.
“I give you an example from the Ministry of Economy, where they are for a few days. The Ministry of Economy is that ministry with many state companies. The second or third day after the tragedy from Praid happened, when the whole of Romania was worried, there were the forces of the Romanian state who were trying to limit the impact, the director of Salrom, 38, Miruţă, Wednesday night, on B1 TV, according to News.ro.
He stated that the decision to increase the salary of the director of Salrom SA was taken in the general meeting of shareholders.
“The general meeting of the shareholders decided to increase this allowance. Only the fixed piece, that they still have a variable piece. Cuprumin, the Institute of Transport Research, 50,000 lei per month, a fixed amount … have a variable component that increases. Is this?”, The Minister of Economy said.
Asked if he will make checks on the board of directors from the companies subordinated to the ministry, Radu Miruţă replied: “There the devil”.
