Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi revealed that there will be no special celebration of President Prabowo Subianto’s birthday today. Prabowo, according to Pras, thanked all parties and the community who gave their greetings and prayers.
“There is no (special celebration). First of all, of course all of us today, the entire Indonesian nation, wish the President a happy birthday,” said Pras to journalists in Cikini, Central Jakarta, Friday (17/10/2025).
“The President also told us to express his highest gratitude and respect to all the people who have congratulated us and prayed,” continued Pras.

Pras also revealed Prabowo’s message that all parties should not send birthday flower bouquets. Prabowo wants it to be better allocated to helping others in need.
“Including his message, perhaps for those who haven’t already, he suggested that there is no need to send any bouquets or flowers. If we have good fortune, he suggested that we can help our brothers and sisters who are more in need,” he said.
Previously, a small thanksgiving for Prabowo’s birthday was held at the Jakarta Palace this afternoon, attended by Prabowo’s son Didit Hediprasetyo, Commission IV DPR RI Siti Hediati Soeharto or Titiek Soeharto, and a number of cabinet members.
The moment of thanksgiving was uploaded on the Instagram of the Daily Chair of the Gerindra DPP Sufmi Dasco Ahmad. Also seen were Chairman of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly Ahmad Muzani, Head of BPI Danantara Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Communication and Technology Meutya Hafid, Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, Head of BIN Herindra, Head of Bakom RI Angga Raka Prabowo, Special Presidential Envoy Raffi Ahmad, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sudarsono.
There was a moment when Didit Hediprasetyo received a plate containing pieces of yellow rice cone from Prabowo. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka also appeared to be present in the room in one of the photos uploaded by Dasco. In one of the photos, Prabowo is involved in a conversation with a number of people close to him.
Dasco emphasized that he would always be with Prabowo to realize the ideals of a just and prosperous nation. “Attending President Prabowo’s 74th birthday celebration. With full pride and joy, we are always with you in fighting to create a just and prosperous Indonesia in the future,” said Dasco.
