Microsoft has now launched Powertoys 0.97, the first update of the year to the Windows toolbox. The update includes some new features and bug fixes for a number of Powertoys tools, but the headliners are the new features in the Command Palette, as well as a new mouse tool.

The new mouse tool CursorWrap will allow the mouse pointer to move around to the other side of the screen more quickly. If you drag the mouse pointer towards the left end of the screen, it will appear on the right side and vice versa, the same applies to the top and bottom sides of the screen.

In Powetoys 0.97, among other things, you should now be able to make some personal adjustments in the Command Palette, you will be able to change the background color in the tool, or set an image of your choice as the background. You should now also be able to control other Powertoys tools via the Command Palette.
You can read about the other new features in Powertoys 0.97 on the toolbox’s Github page. Microsoft writes that the next update will mainly focus on fixing bugs and improving the stability of the tools.
