Porsche is enhancing its 911 family for 2026, introducing three new all-wheel-drive versions of the Carrera 4S: the coupé, the convertible, and the Targa 4S. These models, positioned just below the GTS variants, effectively double the number of all-wheel-drive options available. In Canada, all-wheel drive is a popular choice among 911 buyers due to its enhanced stability in winter.The Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system maintains a sporty feel with a rear-axle bias, redistributing torque to the front when needed. A double-speed PDK double-clutch transmission with a water-cooled clutch manages the system for optimal efficiency.

The new 911 Carrera 4S models feature a 3.0-liter twin-turbo cylinder engine, now producing 473 horsepower, a 30 hp increase from the previous generation. A redesigned cooling system, inspired by the 911 Turbo, enhances performance. The coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds with the Chrono Sport package, and reaches a top speed of 308 km/h.
