A sighting of what appeared to be a crocodile’s head in Lake Constance caused a stir among walkers. The incident prompted a response from the fire brigade and police, who initially believed the reports.
On Friday morning, strollers near the Lake Constance shore spotted what they thought was a crocodile head emerging from a pool and alerted the Constance fire brigade.
Emergency services responded to the scene, and their initial assessment seemed to confirm the sighting. Though, a closer inspection proved difficult as only the head was visible, making it appear quite realistic at first glance.

The crocodile was captured by the emergency services in compliance with all offered security measures.
The emergency services, taking all necessary precautions,”captured” the crocodile. It was quickly resolute that the animal was not alive but rather a deceptively realistic dummy.
