On Monday, December 22, in the radio program “Zaraz jest dark”, Jurek Owsiak announced the first star of next year’s edition of Pol’and’Rock Festival. As announced by the organizer, the American hard rock band Godsmack will perform on the Big Stage.
“It is with great joy that we present to you the first star of the upcoming 32nd Pol’and’Rock Festival – especially for lovers of strong music: Godsmack!” – it was announced in a message that appeared on the event’s official Facebook profile. Internet users did not hide their delight: “The best gift for Christmas”, “You don’t have to announce anything more. The stakes have been raised too high”, “I was at the Godsmack concert in Gliwice in March and I didn’t expect that I would have another chance to see them so soon”, “There will be fire” – they wrote in the comments under the post on the Pol’and’Rock Festival profile on Facebook.

The band was founded in 1995 by Sully Ern in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Godsmack is famous for its heavy, energetic sounds that combine elements of hard rock, post-grunge and alternative metal. The band has also won many awards and nominations.
The group won, among others, the title of Rock Artist of the Year by Billboard magazine and was recognized in the Boston Music Awards plebiscite. In addition, three Godsmack albums reached number one on the Billboard 200, and as many as 28 singles reached the top ten of the American charts.
The 32nd edition of the Pol’and’Rock festival will take place on July 30 – August 1, 2026 at the Czaplinek-Broczyno airport. We invite you to participate in the survey and comment.
