“Unbounded brutality of the Russians. They killed seven civilians in Pokrovsk. I learned this today on social media,” the post said. A whole family is among the dead. This allegedly happened on the night of December 21.
D. Lubinec said that he had written official letters to the Red Cross and the United Nations.
“This is a trial of Russian soldiers that the whole world must see. They came to kill civilians. Such an event in Pokrovsk is not the only one. It is a solid component of the systematic violence tactics that Russian units use against civilians in the occupied and near-frontline areas of Ukraine. The intentional killing of civilians is a gross violation of international humanitarian law and a war crime,” noted D. Lubinecs.
Impunity for such crimes, according to him, only creates the basis for their repetition.
