External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar was present at Trump’s inauguration as a special envoy of Prime Minister Modi on January 20.

Jaishankar engaged in significant diplomatic activities shortly after the inauguration, meeting National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and participating in the QUAD meeting with Marco Rubio, Penny Wong, and Iwaya Takeshi.

A bilateral meeting between Jaishankar and Rubio yielded positive outcomes, with both nations emphasizing mutual interest and security.
