At the start of the event, you will receive quests to obtain koma tops. Completing them will earn you Pikmin seedlings dressed in 2024 glasses and event-inspired outfits for your Mii!
*Please note that 2024 Goggles are not available for Frost Pikmin.
*Koma Tops can be obtained as rewards from Event Challenges, from Planting Flowers, from Mystery Boxes received by destroying Magnificent Mushrooms, and by purchasing a Premium Event Pass, Limited Time Bundle, or Web Store Exclusive Bundle.
*Once the event ends, the koma tops will disappear, although they have no use beyond this event.
Destroy Magnificent Mushrooms to earn Mystery Boxes containing Koma Spinning Tops and Pikmin Seedlings disguised as a 2025 Confetti Launcher!
During the event, you may see magnificent mushrooms. When you destroy them, you will receive mystery boxes with items such as Koma spinning tops and Pikmin seedlings disguised as a 2025 confetti launcher, among others. The Pikmin disguised as osechi, as a 2025 confetti thrower, with 2024 glasses and with 2023 glasses are the strongest against these mushrooms, so try to send them to destroy them!
*Please note that 2023 Glasses-Disguised Pikmin Seedlings cannot be obtained as rewards in the event, but can be obtained with special tickets in the in-game store.
Additionally, during the weekends you can find Giant Magnificent Mushrooms, which contain a rare Mystery Box. And not only that: during those weekends, the Mushroom Battle Megaphone will be available up to 3 times a day. Team up with your friends to destroy these strong mushrooms!

*During the event, Pikmin dressed as Osechi, Confetti Thrower 2025, Glasses 2024, and Glasses 2023 will be slightly stronger than normal against all types of mushrooms.
*If you receive a call through the Mushroom Battle Megaphone to a Magnificent Mushroom before the event has started in your time zone, you will be able to join the battle and help destroy the mushroom. The mystery box you receive as a reward will also be the one from the osechi event.
*If you join a Magnificent Mushroom Battle after the event has already ended in your time zone, you will not receive a Mystery Box.
