Pier Silvio Berlusconi publicly thanked Checco Zalone with a page in the main Italian newspapers after the box office record of ‘Buen Camino‘, which became the most watched film in the history of Italian cinema.
The gesture celebrates a shared success, as the film is an Indiana Production production with Medusa Film, controlled by the MFE-MediaForEurope group, in collaboration with MZL and Netflix.
Released in theaters in 900 copies last December 25th, Buen Camino has now exceeded 70 million in takings. But this is a figure to which the proceeds from broadcasts on the various television platforms will then have to be added.
