The Airfryer Rapid Combiair XXL Connected by Philips convinced in the test in all areas. The fries are particularly fried and remain crispy regardless of their size.

In contrast, smaller pieces are often too hard with other hot air fryers, while larger ones still remain soft. The Philips model also cut off best when preparing paprika and carrot strips and delivered perfectly cooked vegetables. This test point is a major challenge for many devices.

Philips Airfryer XXL Connected Series 5000**

For a significantly lower price than the 7000 series, the Airfryer XXL Connected Series 5000 leaves an excellent overall impression. Operation via the touch display works perfectly and intuitively. The handling of the frying basket is also uncomplicated: an inner grid basket is inserted into an outer basket, which is then pushed into the deep fryer.

The high -quality processing of the Airfryer XXL Connected Series 5000 is positive, as is easy cleaning. Philips particularly emphasizes the Rapid Air hot air technology, which causes a steady heat distribution due to a naval esters in the base and quickly circulating hot air. This is supposed to become crispy and delicate on the outside.

In the test, the device convinced with good frying results-whether with fries, chicken nuggets, mini pizzas or peppers. However, there are also criticisms: a shaking reminder is missing, and the power consumption and the volume are comparatively high.

Philips Airfryer 3000 Series Dual Basket

The Philips Airfryer 3000 Series Dual Basket has two frying baskets with a capacity of six or three liters. Particularly practical: The device can be set so that two dishes with different parameters are finished at the same time or that the settings of a basket are taken over for the other.

When preparing fries and vegetables, the model achieved good overall, but somewhat uneven frying results. The operation was uncomplicated and the handling of the two separate baskets is still comfortable.

The Philips Airfryer also collects plus points with its small volume, the shaking reminder at half -time of the cooking process and the simple cleaning. However, it was not enough for an even better overall grade of the hot air fryer, since the adjustable temperature and time range is rather limited, while the power consumption is comparatively high.

Conclusion: Airfryer for everyone

Philips has hot air fryers in its range for various budgets and requirements. The overall models are all “good” with IMETTE. It is therefore important to consider which type of Airfryer meets your own wishes. The Rapid Combiair XXL Connected is the most expensive, but also the most comfortable model in the test. If you value flexibility and not always prepared larger quantities, it is worth taking a look at the 3000 Series Dual Basket. On the other hand, if you want to spend a little less money, but still want to receive good frying results, the Airfryer XXL Connected Series 5000 could be the right choice.

Ninja, Xiaomi and Cosori: There are these alternatives

Of course, other brands can also be considered when choosing a hot air fryer. Imest provides an overview of all the model tested so far. For example, the Ninja Double Stack XL, which has two frying baskets, is suitable for particularly small kitchens, which are arranged on top of each other and both can still be grilled. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Air Fry 6L, which offers good frying results and a very simple display tour, is particularly favorable. The Cosori Turbo Blaze 6.0 liter with an overall grade of 2.3 (“good”) can also convince.
