According to the agenda that the aforementioned parliamentary working group will develop, it is required to have a version from the head of the MINEM regarding the possible impact of this norm, issued by the Executive Branch, in the Education sector.
In addition, it is requested that an account be taken of the socio-economic study and impact of the aforementioned Emergency Decree on educational institutions that receive royalties and fees from the state company.
In the same way, the Minister of Economy, Denisse Miralles, and the head of Education, Jorge Figueroa, have been invited to respond to the uncertainty of thousands of young people about the continuity and sustainability of the Beca 18 program.
You are also asked to detail the specific actions to guarantee the comprehensive security of students in public universities who have been benefiting from the different types of PRONABEC scholarships.
Finally, the Education Commission of the National Parliament will also ask Minister Miralles Miralles what are the reasons for non-compliance with the allocation of 6% of GDP for the Education sector, as required by the last paragraph of article 16 of the Political Constitution of Peru.
