Pete Davidson is setting the record straight about his love life in a recent interview, expressing his current feelings toward his former romantic entanglements and the media’s role in them. The Saturday Night Live alum holds no grudges toward exes like Ariana Grande, despite the spotlight on their high-profile relationship.

“When we see each other, which is few and far between, because we’re not in the same circles, it’s all love,” Davidson told Page Six. “I hope she wins the Oscar, I hope she takes the gold,” he added, speaking about Grande’s nominated role in Wicked.
Davidson highlighted his ability to move past relationships gracefully. “I’ve had some pretty adult relationships with some pretty amazing women, and when it’s ended it’s been cool,” he said.
The comedian also shed light on the struggles of dating in the public eye. His relationships with celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Phoebe Dynevor, Madelyn Cline, and Kaia Gerber often brought unwanted attention.

“It was pretty humiliating and upsetting, honestly,” Davidson continued. “Everyone is dating everyone and it’s Hollywood. Look at Paul Mescal, Timmy [Chalamet], Barry Keough. But because I’m ugly, they wrote about me. I was harassed for like five years and it made my life a living hell.”
Davidson expressed frustration that the media focus shifted from his comedy career to his personal life. “It’s embarrassing because you want people to write about your work,” he said. “I was one of the youngest ever cast members on SNL and all that got pushed to the side because of who I was dating.”
In recent years, Davidson has shifted his focus to personal growth and health. “I haven’t been dating the past six months and I’m starting to turn my life around with a new focus on my health and fitness,” he said.
“I’ve had six months of good living and working hard,” he continued. “And I realize that if you want to be treated the way you want to be treated, you have to do the work.”
