Driven by a collective passion for their homeland, a dedicated group of over 50 Peruvian students at Harvard University have orchestrated a groundbreaking event: the first-ever Peru Conference at harvard. for the past six months, these students, representing diverse fields of study from medicine to business, have poured their energy into organizing this historic meeting. katherine Gutiérrez, co-president of the conference and a leader within the Peruvian Caucus at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, emphasized the proactive nature of the event.We want to address the issues that are not being discussed enough and do it with a more proactive approach, focused on what we and other actors in the country can do, she stated, highlighting the conference’s focus on actionable solutions.

There is a tendency not to want to return and I think that talent escape is a reality. But stories like those of Jaime and Beatriz help us to become aware that, given the virtues and blessings we have to be here, you always have to look towards Peru.
