Perfume Violet: California Blossom Scent | Fragrance Notes & Review

by Archynetys World Desk

Between Mustela milk, marshmallow and steam from clean laundry, an impression of immediate and reassuring familiarity emerges from this perfume. A feeling that it is sewn with smells already known, already loved, inviting the desire to spray oneself generously with them (and to wait for the compliments). The always effective marriage of neroli and white musks, clean, soft and luminous, softens on contact with iris which gives it some light candy nuances. Everything tickles in us a memory that we would be tempted to describe as “collective” as these referents are so common, and yet, it is the childhood memories of one of the three buyers of the Violet house which served as inspiration here: a certain Anthony… Toulemonde.
