After a long wait, Hollow Knight Silks song finally reveals his released date
What the first tests praise on Silksong
In addition to the excellent optical and musical presentation, it is primarily praised that Silksong builds on a very good foundation and complements new ideas, which creates an extremely rewarding gaming experience.
The far faster struggles and generally the nimble movements of Hornet are praised, which, however, leads to a greater challenge in many places of the game.
That forgives the games star
Colleague Sören von der Gamestar has also played through Silksong and awards in over 40 hours 86 points – Directly to the GameStar test.
“Silksong is a unique, fantastic gaming experience – but not suitable for everyone.“
Sören also praises the beautifully melancholic game world, Hornets new skills and tools as well as the large scope of Silksong, but also writes that Silks song goes hand in hand with a great risk of frustration, which could deter many players and is therefore not the same game for all metroid vania fans.
When does the GamePro test appear?
It will take a while before our review appears. Tester Kevin has now reached the second act, but also has a long way to go. As a short interim conclusion, however, it should be said that he has been enthusiastic so far and that as a big fan of the predecessor is happy to face the challenge and likes to explore every corner of the game world.
Have you already played Silksong and if so, what rating would you currently award?
