Former opera singer Dagmar Pecková recently experienced a heated exchange at a public event. The incident occurred after a concert by Ondřej Ruml in Holice, where Pecková was in attendance. According to her account, the confrontation arose as the audience applauded the performance.

Pecková described the beginning of the incident to Deník.cz: “I was at Ondřej Ruml’s concert in Holice. In the audience, for the leadership of the festival (Golden Pecka). At the end of the concert, everyone got up and began to applaud. Someone very indiscriminately grabbed me from behind by the shoulder and made me strengthened me.”

The opera singer further explained that the confrontation came from a woman in the audience who took issue with Pecková’s publicly stated opinions. “She was a woman around fifty, obviously well situated. She began to scold me quite loudly and aggressively, confront me with my opinions and instruct what I should and shouldn’t think and what I may not say,” Pecková stated.
