Everyone always sticks to their positions. Nearly three months after Orange, Bouygues Telecom and Free proposed, in mid-October 2025, to Patrick Drahi to jointly buy back his telephone operator SFR for 17 billion euros – an offer deemed insufficient by the billionaire, who immediately rejected it – discussions between the players remain deadlocked. But Altice France, the parent company of the operator in the red square, does not intend to sit idly by: since the trio refuses to revise its initial offer, Mr. Drahi is now threatening to accelerate his plan to sell by apartment.
In recent months, the number two French telecoms company has received several offers for Netco, its fiber network in large cities, as well as for SFR Business, its branch dedicated to businesses. According to our information, it intends to select candidates during the first quarter of 2026, with a view to possible sales. Regarding Netco, Mr. Drahi received a total of four offers, valuing this asset between 4.5 and 5.8 billion euros. For SFR Business, Altice received five proposals: one from the operator Altitude Infra, which values the subsidiary at 1.2 billion euros, and four others, valuing it between 1.85 and 2.3 billion euros.
