Patrice Aminati remains transparent about her cancer. With a moving image she wants to give hope to other affected people.
Düsseldorf – It’s a fight that Patrice Aminati (30) fights every day. The fashion designer and influencer lives with a diagnosis that has turned her life upside down: black skin cancer. The disease is incurable and treatment is palliative.
But give up? That’s out of the question for the 30-year-old. She continues to fight for her little daughter Charly Malika (3). She continues to take her Instagram subscribers with her on this difficult journey. What she posted in her story on Sunday evening (January 11th) is deeply touching.
Patrice Aminati shows bald spots on the back of her head
A photo she took herself: You can see the bald spots on the back of her head – a result of cancer treatment. Spots that she normally hides with wigs at events. “For everyone who is going through something similar: Please don’t be sad and hold on,” writes Patrice about the moving picture. And adds with remarkable strength: “Hair can grow back again. That was one of the least side effects.”
A lot has changed in the influencer’s life since September. After seven years of relationship and three years of marriage, she separated from presenter Daniel Aminati (52). Since then, Patrice has lived with her daughter in a separate apartment in her parents’ house in Dresden. There she recharges her batteries for everyday life, which is characterized by numerous doctor’s appointments – she sees her doctors several times a week.
But there is also positive news: In October, Patrice went to a wig shop and had her first wig fitted – a light blonde long bob. “Two variants are still coming,” she announced. She also shared this courageous step openly and honestly Instagram.
