Czech forward David Pastrňák scored two goals and an assist for Boston’s hockey players to win 5:3 over Toronto. With his first hit in the game, he surpassed the 400-goal mark in the regular season of the NHL.

The 29-year-old gunner is the third Czech player to reach this goal in the regular season after Jaromír Jágro (766) and Patrik Eliáš (408).

Pastrňák scored his four hundredth goal in style. The Czech attacker ended the escape with a successful forehand loop and increased the lead to 4:1 at the beginning of the second period.

He scored the second goal in a power play, in which he made his way with a shot from the left circle into an open goal and made it 5:3 in the 50th minute.

When Toronto was playing without a goalkeeper, Pastrňák could have completed a hat trick, but he narrowly missed the empty net and the whistle was blown for a prohibited release.

Pastrňák also scored an assist on the opening goal of the match. After his pass between the circles, the puck bounced off the skate of compatriot Pavel Zacha and into the goal.

Boston won for the seventh time in a row, and Pastrnak was named the biggest star of the night.
