Broadcaster Park Mi-sun released a video showing her battle with breast cancer.
On the 28th, on the YouTube channel ‘I am Park Mi-sun’, ‘[슬기로운 투병일기-1] A video titled ‘Becoming a cancer patient overnight’ was posted. In the video, Park Mi-sun said, “I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of last year and started anti-cancer treatment in January 2025. I recorded my struggle with the disease through video. I hope that many patients will find strength after watching this video and that it will be of some help.”
In the following video, Park Mi-sun, who appeared wearing a hospital gown, revealed the first chemotherapy treatment process. After completing his first chemotherapy treatment, he said, “I’m fine because I took a lot of medicine at the hospital. I have an appetite. I feel a little dizzy and my blood pressure has dropped, but other than that, I’m fine.”
Afterwards, Park Mi-sun spent her daily life with her family. He said, “I’m not in bad shape, so I took a walk around the neighborhood. I’m exercising and doing well. They say there aren’t many cases like this, but I think the injections are working well for me.” At the same time, he said, “I am in the best condition 2-3 days before the second chemotherapy treatment,” and “If I live well, I will go in and die again,” making people laugh.
On this day, Park Mi-sun revealed the reason for releasing the video of her fight against the disease on her SNS account. He said, “I didn’t even think about it, but so many people told me that it gave them strength, so I uploaded a video of my daughter’s small battle with the disease. I uploaded it to YouTube in hopes that people would sympathize with it and maybe it would give them strength.”
Meanwhile, Park Mi-sun completely suspended all activities last January due to health issues. After 10 months, she appeared on tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’ and announced the news of her battle with breast cancer, receiving continued support.
