Among the stolen items were Bleyaert’s bicycle, laptop, and other personal belongings.

A few kl** tags broke into our cars and stolen our bikes… They also brought my suitcase, my backpack and bag with cycling clothing… everything.

Despite Bleyaert’s ability to pinpoint the laptop’s location using her iPhone, authorities reportedly stated that this details was insufficient as definitive proof of theft. The lack of immediate action and the absence of updates further compounded Bleyaert’s frustration.

It does not apply as ‘proof’ that they have stolen our things… they said they would keep an eye on the house/street in question, but two days later we still have no news.

Adding insult to injury, Jasper Stuyven’s race ended prematurely due to a crash. The incident occurred early in the competition, preventing him from showcasing his potential on the challenging cobblestone sections. This setback was particularly disheartening given Stuyven’s strong performance in the preceding spring classics.

He never had the chance to prove himself on the cobblestones… As of the way he was driving during the spring classics, I knew he would be very high in Roubaix. But the universe clearly had other plans for us this weekend.
