Paris Metro Stabbing: Three Women Injured

Three women were injured with a stabbing weapon by an attacker in several metro stations in the center of Paris today. The man fled from the scene of the crime, AFP reported with reference to the transport company of the French capital. The server of Le Figaro wrote that the police arrested the suspect in Sarcelles, a northern suburb of Paris.

The attacks took place successively at République, Arts et Métiers and Opéra stations between 16:15 and 16:45. According to Le Figaro, none of the women are in danger and their injuries are superficial.

Additional security teams have been deployed to ensure security in the Paris metro.
