WORTHINGTON — Helping Hand Pregnancy Center will offer Love and Logic parenting classes on Thursday evenings beginning in April. Open to the community and to any parents court ordered, clients can call Stephanie Vande Kamp at (507) 372-2111 or email

for start dates and times. A $15 donation is requested to cover the cost of the workbooks.
The class is designed to build stronger connections between parents and their children. Parents in the class will learn how to provide practical skills, avoid un-winnable power struggles, stay calm and empathetic, set enforceable limits, avoid enabling and become empowering, help kids learn from their mistakes and more.
A Spanish curriculum is available and the center is working on getting a Spanish volunteer to assist. If someone could assist with interpreting, contact Helping Hand Pregnancy Center.
