qFor the third consecutive year, the Jofre de Ferrol theater will be dressed in long sleeves to host the award ceremony for the Paraugas Awardswhich this year reach their tenth edition and consolidate their role as great reference for communication, marketing and advertising professionals. The appointment will be next Friday, November 21. And those who want can now place bets, because this Thursday the names of the finalists were announced in the Ferrol City Council, by the hand of Alberto Garnilpresident of Communication Cluster of Galicia, contest organizer.
Garnil explained that in this edition of the Paraugas Awards they showed up more than 250 applicationsamong which were selected 33 finalistswhich are the “33 examples of talent” who will fight for laurels in a total of eleven competitive categories.

The latter recalled that the contest will award four other special awards: the Galicia Calidade Awardwhich is new and will serve to recognize the advertiser, agency or breakthrough project of the year; he Advertiser of the Year Award; he Golden Umbrella Awardthe most coveted since it is reserved for the most outstanding candidate; and the Public Umbrella Awardwhich opens the contest to citizen participation.
During the event, Ana Méndez stressed “the importance of supporting an event from Tourism of Galicia in general, and Galicia Calidade in particular, which showcases Galician talent and creativity and that contributes to strengthen the image of the community as an innovative territory and referring to quality».
