The Panthers forced three turnovers and beat the Los Angeles Rams 31-28 on Sunday in front of their fans.

The North Carolina squad intercepted two passes from Matthew Stafford, including one returned for a 48-yard touchdown by Mike Jackson, and Derrick Brown recovered a fumble to confirm his team’s victory.

Bryce Young completed 15 of his 20 passes for 206 yards. He threw three touchdown passes for the Panthers (7-6), including two on fourth down.

This victory allowed the Panthers to stay a half-game behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-5) and the top of the National South Division.

Stafford saw 18 of his 28 attempts through the air caught for gains of 243 yards. He threw two touchdown passes to Davante Adams. The 37-year-old quarterback had thrown 28 consecutive touchdown passes without an interception, which is an NFL record.

The Rams (9-3) saw their six-game winning streak end, but they still lead the NL West Division.

Young threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Chuba Hubbard, a 33-yarder to Jalen Coker and a 43-yarder to Tetairoa McMillan with 6:43 left in the game.

The Panthers used an effective ground game to maintain possession in the second half. Hubbard rushed for 83 yards while Rico Dowdle added 58.

Texans 20 – Colts 16

Nico Collins broke the tie with a seven-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter and the Houston Texans beat the Colts 20-16 in Indianapolis.

The Texans (7-5), who have the best defense in the NFL, have won their last four outings to move within one game of the Colts (8-4) and the top of the American South Division.

CJ Stroud improved to 3-0 at Lucas Oil Stadium, completing 22 of 35 passes for 276 yards. He threw an interception in his first game in four weeks after leaving the concussion protocol Friday.

Collins caught five passes for 98 yards. Nick Chubb added a rushing touchdown for the winners.

The Houston team confirmed its victory when it caused a turnover on tries with only 1:45 remaining.

The Colts have lost two games in a row for the first time this season and have won just one of their last four games. They have not scored at least 20 points for the first time in 2025.

Playing despite a lower leg injury, quarterback Daniel Jones completed 14 of his 27 attempts through the air for 201 yards. He threw two touchdown passes.

Running back Jonathan Taylor, who leads the NFL in rushing yards, had 85 on 21 carries.
