Panathinaikos Champion: Beat Olympiacos & Win Title | Ataman

Panathinaikos, coached by Ergin Ataman, won the Greek Cup in basketball, beating Olympiacos 79-68 in the final.

While the first period of the match at Heraklion Arena was tied at 17-17, Panathinaikos scored 28 points in the second quarter and went to the locker room with a 45-29 lead.

Panathinaikos, also played by Cedi Osman, who did not allow Olympiacos to close the gap in the third quarter, entered the final period with a 69-51 score advantage.

Although Olympiakos played more effectively in the last period, Panathinaikos defeated its opponent 79-68 and won the cup.

Panathinaikos won the Greek Cup for the second consecutive time and the 22nd time in total.

Ergin Ataman won the 4th cup of his Panathinaikos career.

American basketball player Nigel Hayes-Davis, who played for Panathinaikos with 15 points, received the most valuable player (MVP) award.
