Packers vs. Bears: Live Score & Highlights – NFL Saturday

As two of the NFC North’s most historic sides, the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears have enjoyed plenty of consequential matches over the years.

Bart Starr, Gale Sayers, Paul Hornung and Walter Payton all crossed that familiar patch of grass located on the Near South Side of Chicago. So too did Brett Favre, Mike Singletary, Reggie White and Mike Singletary, among others. Aaron Rodgers cast spells atop the Soldier Field lawn, whistling arrows through the brisk wintery gales throughout his near two-decade spell under center for Green Bay.

Now, his replacement — Jordan Love — will look to find a similar vein of form. The Packers desperately need it; they sit more than a game behind their longtime rivals in the divisional standings.

Green Bay netted a momentous victory over Chicago in Week 14, capitalizing on a late Josh Jacobs touchdown and an even later Kesean Nixon interception to pull close to Ben Johnson’s upstart side. A similar result on Saturday would put the Packers at the top of the divisional standings — moving them one game closer to notching their first NFC North crown since 2021.

Packers vs. Bears live updates, highlights from NFL Saturday night game

(All times Eastern)

10:00 p.m.: Love was officially ruled out with a concussion. Willis will take the reins of Green Bay’s offense for the remainder of tonight’s game.

9:58 p.m.: FIELD GOAL! And they do! After creeping inside Green Bay’s 30, Cairo Santos gets Chicago on the board with a 46-yard screamer.

Packers 6, Bears 3

9:50 p.m.: The Bears will start the third frame with possession of the rock. They’ll look to put forth a better display then they did in the first.

End of second quarter: Packers 6, Bears 0

9:33 p.m.: FIELD GOAL! McManus doubles Green Bay’s advantage with another chip shot.

Packers 6, Bears 0

9:24 p.m.: It’s already cold as hell in Chicago. The Packers are feeling even colder — according to Fox’s Erin Andrews, the heaters have gone dead on Green Bay’s sideline. That doesn’t appear to be the case for Chicago, however.

9:20 p.m.: Matt LaFleur is putting Willis’ mobility to use so far. He slipped past detection on fourth-and-one to move the chains — and push Green Bay into Chicago territory.

9:15 p.m.: Love is down. Looks like he got caught up high while attempting to drop back. He took a helmet-to-helmet shot from Austin Booker. He stayed on the ground for a fair bit before leaving the field on his own power. He is headed to the medical tent, presumably to undergo concussion testing. Malik Willis will take his place under center.

9:00 p.m.: The wind is clearly a factor thus far. McManus was forced to call in a holder after the ball kept on bumbling from the tee. Meanwhile, Love’s attempted pass to Watson in the back of the end zone was swept in a gale that changed its pathway.

8:57 p.m.: FIELD GOAL! For the second time in as many drives, Green Bay gets inside Chicago’s red zone. But its pursuit of a touchdown goes wanting, with the Packers forced to settle for a Brandon McManus chip shot after a backwards pass put them behind the eight ball.

Packers 3, Bears 0

End of first quarter: Packers 0, Bears 0

8:45 p.m.: FUMBLE! After authoring a nearly 90-yard drive, Chicago’s fourth-and-one attempt ends in a fumble! The ball leapt over Kyle Monangai’s head on the direct snap! Green Bay gets the stop!

8:31 p.m.: TURNOVER ON DOWNS! After climbing inside Chicago’s 10-yard line, Jordan Love and the Pack fail to convert on fourth-and-one, with Love’s toss to Watson landing on the sidelines. Chicago takes over deep in its own territory!

8:25 p.m.: And we’re off! The Packers start the game with the ball!

8:05 p.m.: Here’s a look at Jacobs getting ready for action. We’ll be underway in the next 15 minutes or so.

7:50 p.m.: Here’s a look at the inactives for tonight’s contest. Worth noting for the Packers: Josh Jacobs is back in action after missing all of Green Bay’s practices this week with a knee injury. Christian Watson will also take part in festivities after suffering a chest and shoulder injury last week.
