You may be somewhat familiar with The Gang’s name, as the developer recently delivered horror project Out of Sight. This is an interesting time for the team, as the developer was previously best known for its efforts in creating experiences for Roblox. But apparently this venture into more mainstream gaming was a success, because now The Gang has announced a spin-off studio that will look to grow and expand its IP.
Spun off from The Gang is The Gang Studio, a studio dedicated to“Expanding its portfolio of owned IP, pushing creative boundaries and continuing to grow in the rapidly evolving world of user-generated and community-driven gaming”team.
As co-founder and Chairman of the Board Marcus Holmström explains, this new structure also means The Gang can now “Running faster through brand partnerships and developing original games” . It will also allow the wider company to spin off its original IP development into an independent studio that will seek to create “The next wave of breakthrough games”.
