Police are investigating teh death of a man from Jyväskylä, suspecting a woman around 60 years old of his murder. The incident occurred in Mikkeli in early July.

Authorities report that the suspect in the Otava murder in Mikkeli had been planning the crime for a considerable time. The victim, a woman around 60 years old, was discovered deceased in a burnt-out house in Mikkeli earlier in July. Additionally, a man born in 2005 is suspected of murdering a taxi driver the night before in jyväskylä.

Director of Investigation,Criminal Commissioner Marfaa Raipe stated that the pre-trial investigation suggests the suspect also attempted a murder in Jyväskylä.

According too Raipela, “- The investigation has revealed that there has been a stable consideration as a whole.”

The suspect faces accusations of violating the grave peace, causing gross damage, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and aggravated robbery.

Police have confirmed that the suspect and the victim were acquainted.

Raipela anticipates the case will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office within the week.
