The Latvian-Taiwanese tandem convincingly won with the result 6:2, 6:1, proving their dominance in the match. The first set ended 6-2, but in the second set the pair was even more pronounced, winning 6-1.

To reach the final, Ostapenko and Xi defeated Australia’s Priscilla Hone and Czech Karolina Muhova 6-1, 1-6, 10-6 in the quarterfinals. In the first round, they defeated Australian Olivia Gadecki and Slovakian Tereza Mihalíkova with the result 6:1, 6:4.
