It has become a tradition that the Oslo Motor Show presents many new car launches, and this year’s edition follows suit.
The big highlight of the autumn for many car enthusiasts is fast approaching – the doors at NOVA spektrum in Lillestrøm open on Friday 24 October.
This time there are a record number of Norwegian premieres. Plans are being made to unveil both well-known and unknown car brands.
The roughest one to be displayed is undoubtedly Ford’s spindly van – with over 2,000 horsepower!

The world’s fastest
Ford offers two highlights. The Ranger MS-RT is a special edition of the pickup, which has been given a motorsport-inspired design.
It has a 3-liter V6 diesel engine, 10-speed automatic transmission and e4WD four-wheel drive system.
But it’s the Ford Transit Supervan 4.2 that really steals the show. With over 2,000 horsepower and four electric motors, this is the world’s fastest van around the Nürburgring.
It does 0-100 km/h in less than two seconds and has never been shown in Norway before.

At the same time, the Nissan Micra is being relaunched as an electric car, available with two battery options of 40 kWt and 52 kWt, with a range of over 400 kilometres.
