unemployment savings accounts. Hear’s a step-by-step guide.

The
AFC (administrator of unemployment funds)
oversees the individual cessation accounts (CIC) for workers, providing
crucial financial support during unemployment. These funds are specifically
earmarked for unemployment insurance and are generally accessible only upon
proof of unemployment, which requires submitting specific documents.

funds, either partially or entirely, through the AFC Virtual Branch can do
so by following these steps:

  2. Log in using your RUT (national identification number) and Clave AFC.
  3. Once logged in, click the “Pension Balance” button and choose the
    corresponding AFP (Pension Fund Administrator).

  4. The system will then prompt you to upload the necessary documents to

Pensioners affiliated with IPS, Capredena, or Dipreca should submit their
applications through the “My procedures” section on the AFC website.
Alternatively, applications can be made in person at any AFC chile branch.

Required Documents for AFC Fund Withdrawal

When submitting a withdrawal request, the system will ask for the following
documents:

  • A valid, current identity card.
  • The most recent pension payment statement.
  • A pension resolution certificate issued by the relevant AFP, IPS, or
forecasting institutions (FF.AA., Capredena, or Dipreca). This
certificate should specify the pension start date and the type of pension
    received.

  • If applicable,a certificate of total disability or definitive partial
disability with a retained balance released by the AFP.

  • For those receiving an early old-age pension due to a reduction of years
for performing heavy work, the document that grants this reduction must be
    provided.
