The Persik Kediri vs Semen Padang match at the Brawijaya Stadium, Kediri, was also a farewell for Persik coach Ong Kim Swee.
Competing in front of the public himself, Persik immediately stepped on the gas. As a result, Jose Enrique gave the hosts a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute.

Enrique’s header using Ezra Walian‘s measured pass was unable to be anticipated by Semen Padang’s defenders, including goalkeeper Arthur Augusto.
