Enthusiasm is high for the recently launched One UI 8 Beta on the Galaxy S25. According to reports, the program might soon include the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series, giving more users the chance to experience android 16, possibly later this month.
Samsung’s One UI 8 beta seems to be moving forward steadily, especially when compared to the delays that plagued One UI 7. The beta was initially released to select countries last week, but it’s currently limited to the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, it appears the wait for owners of earlier flagship models might not be extensive.

According to frequent leaker Tarun Vats, citing their source, Samsung might extend the One UI 8 Beta program to include the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series. Vats suggests the One UI 8 Beta could be available for the Galaxy S24 flagships between late June and early July, with the Galaxy S23 series possibly receiving it by mid-July.
Vats advises caution, as with all reports of this nature. Though, the suggested timeline aligns with previous One UI Beta programs, except for the slower release of One UI 7.

While the One UI 8 Beta is underway, the release date for the stable version remains unknown. More details may be revealed in future beta versions. Google’s pixel devices are scheduled to receive Android 16 this month, following the QPR1 Beta last month. Additionally, Samsung’s upcoming foldables might also launch with One UI 8.
