OLIVIA ATTWOOD has always pushed boundaries with her groundbreaking series, Getting Filthy Rich. Known for its unflinching look at the sex industry, the documentary explores various facets of the adult entertainment world.
However, the presenter has recently broken her silence on an infamous figure making waves on the platform: Bonnie Blue. Though Bonnie Blue has achieved tremendous popularity on OnlyFans, Attwood admits that her antics may cross a line.
Attwood on Bonnie Blue and the Boundaries of ‘Getting Filthy Rich’
Attwood explained that Bonnie Blue is not featured in the current series because the filming occurred before Bonnie’s controversial actions came to light. However, she expressed deep reservations about including Bonnie in future episodes.
“Bonnie is not on the show because the series was filmed before any of this came to light,” Attwood stated. “But I think the special thing about Getting Filthy Rich is that we represent the sex industry in a balanced way, without bias.”
She added, “I think you have to be careful—it feels potentially like it’s something I would be nervous about giving a platform to. I think what she’s advertising is quite dangerous and is potentially quite harmful for the sex worker community.”
Attwood is concerned that Bonnie’s content could undo the efforts made to destigmatise sex workers, raising valid concerns about the ethical implications of featuring such controversial figures.
Exploring the Flipside: Men in the Sex Industry
Attwood has expressed interest in delving deeper into the stories of men involved in Bonnie’s stunts, posing the question: “Who are they? Why are they doing this? Do their families know?”
She believes it’s essential to consider the perspectives of all parties involved, ensuring that the series remains balanced and informative.
The Third Series of ‘Getting Filthy Rich’
As part of the third series, Attwood will meet other successful OnlyFans stars, including Bonnie’s fellow headline-grabber, Lily Phillips. These individuals are reaping significant earnings on the platform, with some making up to £120k a month.
Attwood also explores a variety of niche services, from giants to elderly performers and culinary delights. She even gets hands-on, trying her hand at costume play, complete with a scene where she dresses as a witch while her husband, footballer Bradley Dack, plays the role of Harry Potter.
