Midfielder Olger Escobar of CF Montréal has received a call-up to represent the Guatemala national team in the upcoming 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup. Additionally, Dante Sealy of Trinidad and Tobago has been named to his nation’s roster for the tournament.

Guatemala finds itself in Group D, where they will compete against Jamaica, Panama, and Guadeloupe. The chapines are scheduled to face Jamaica in Los Angeles on June 16, Panama in Austin on June 20, and Guadeloupe in Houston on June 24.

Escobar is also slated to participate in two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.Guatemala will play against the Dominican Republic on Friday, June 6, followed by a match against Jamaica on Tuesday, June 10.

Escobar’s previous call-up was in march for a Gold Cup qualifying series against Guyana, where he played 61 minutes in a 3-2 defeat during the first leg. On March 16,he scored in a friendly match against Honduras,marking his first goal with the senior national team and securing a 2-1 victory.

Dante Sealy Joins Trinidad and Tobago Roster

Dante Sealy, also called up on Tuesday by Trinidad and Tobago, will join his national team for the june international window and the Gold Cup.

Trinidad and Tobago will compete in Group D alongside the United States, Haiti, and Saudi Arabia. The Soca Warriors will face the United States in San Jose on monday, June 16, Haiti in Houston on Thursday, June 19, and Saudi Arabia in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 22.
