A child was reportedly hit by a drunk driver in Oklahoma City on Saturday evening, according to police reports.

Authorities have taken the driver into custody at the scene. According to officials, the child was able to return home and did not require ambulance transport.

According to a neighbor who witnessed the incident, the driver came down 101st Street and struck his little cousin while he was playing in the yard. Police say the driver also collided with six parked cars during the incident.
