Oaxaca is poised for a meaningful boost in tourism and economic development with the proclamation of a new direct flight route connecting Dallas,Texas,and Puerto Escondido. This initiative, spearheaded by the Secretary of Tourism of Oaxaca, Saymi Pineda Velasco, aims to attract a discerning international clientele and further solidify the region’s position as a premier travel destination.

Starting December 3rd, American airlines will operate the route with two weekly flights scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays. This new connection marks Puerto Escondido as the airline’s 30th destination within Mexico,signaling a ample investment in the region’s potential.
