NVIDIA Driver Recall: 595.59 WHQL Pulled – Issues & Fixes

As Videocardz reports, following the release of the 595.59 WHQL drivers by NVIDIA, several users are reporting problems with fan management, mainly on GeForce RTX 50 cards: “ Users report that some fans stop responding, custom fan curves are ignored, or only one sensor appears in tools like HWiNFO, GPU-Z, and manufacturers’ utilities », Explain our colleagues.

That’s not all. Other users point the finger “ a drop in boost after the update. Users report lower peak frequencies and suggest the driver limits GPU voltage to around 0.95V », with the consequence of limiting the frequency on certain cards. There is a lot of feedback on the NVIDIA forums.

Following the release, NVIDIA removed the drivers and asked its users who are experiencing issues to roll back to the previous version, as indicated in an update of the release notes: “ We discovered a bug in the WHQL Game Ready and Studio 595.59 drivers and have temporarily removed the downloads while our team investigates. For users who have already installed this driver and are experiencing fan control issues, please revert to 591.86 WHQL ».

The 595.59 release notes now point to an empty page.
