On Friday January 23, residents of the nursing home attended a preview of the recital Listen to the sweet songproposed by the duo Éclats d’âmes from the Cazouls en song association.
For an hour, the seniors enjoyed a musical interlude at the heart of the classics of French song. The piano-voice duo, designed to convey emotion, won over the attentive audience made up of residents and staff.
The sweet melodies and poetic texts were performed by Jacques (vocals) and Michel (piano-vocals), both members of the Z’Enchanteurs troupe. Through such initiatives, the association pursues its mission to promote musical education and encourage vocations. The concert Listen to the sweet song will be given on Friday January 30at 8:30 p.m., at the Georges-Frêche media library.
